I have a few hours' worth of cassette versions of radio plays, Secret Mountain Morning shows, ads and station IDs. I'll put them up as I get the time to do the transfers to MP3.
Believe it or not, I've held on to two big boxes full of reel-to-reel tapes from the Lab which I never dubbed down to cassette because I didn't have a good tape deck in my home. I'm looking for the loan of a good stereo deck that can play 5" and 7" reels, as well as 10" open-hub reels. If I could get my hands on one of those for a couple of months, I could save these tapes (assuming they're still in playable condition -- it's been over 30 years!). I've even got a couple of 4-track 1/2" reels -- Wish me luck finding a machine to play those! Anyway, if anyone has a good pro-quality deck somewhere in Southern California, let me know! -- JOHN |
